Description The research project focuses on the use of methods of alternative and augmentative communication, as a waz for supporting the development of children with Down syndrome in communication skills. Research to determine which methods AAK in children with Down syndrome are most frequently. Figuring out who is in support of the child most often applied and in what conditions (family, school, speech therapy, a non-profit organization) and how these methods affect the child from the perspective of the survey respondents. The results of the research project are obtained through a questionnaire survey of parents and teachers who support the development of communication of a child with Down syndrome 6 to 15 years of age who is brought up in the family and educated in elementary school.
