| Description | Textbook Japanese Fencing is intended for the participants in the course of the same name which is organized at Masaryk University for foreign students. Teaching materials focus on basic information on the history, techniques and schools of Japanese fencing taking into account pedagogical values of martial arts. The text also provides students with technical terminology relating to Japanese weapons design or to traditional routines (kata), and with didactic and philosophical aspects of martial arts leading to personality cultivation. |
