| Description | In this chapter, the author analyses the issue of prorogation of jurisdiction. An introduction is devoted to description of the prorogation agreement in light of the regulatory developments. The author describes the character of the prorogation agreement, its advantages and potential disadvantages, scope of application and assumptions for application of Article 25 of the Brussels Regulation Ibis providing the current legal regulation of prorogation. In other part of the chapter, the author brings an analysis of the case-law in which the CJEU provided interpretation of several key legal terms related to the prorogation agreement. |
