Experience matters: Age affects the GCOS autonomy orientation score and its relationship to positive psychological outcomes

Description The study shows that respondents score higher in the Autonomy Orientation subscale of the General Causal Orientations Scale (Deci & Ryan, 1985) when they are less likely to have actually experienced the events described in the vignettes. In addition, different items predict positive psychological outcomes in younger and older respondents.
