| Description | The authors try to give at least a basic outline of the issue of public legal persons, from which they select and treat in more detail some interesting, rarely examined topics. Due to the general view of the issue the various specific legal entities sui generis are not even discussed, as such an analysis would go far beyond the scope of this publication. The opening chapter deals with the basic concepts and institutions necessary for the further interpretation, systematic and classification of public legal persons. The following chapters are devoted to some of the most important groups of public legal persons. Firstly public corporations with a focus on the state, especially the position of the state in civil law and issues of the property rights, more precisely the problem of permanently and temporarily redundant state property. The book does not pay a special attention to the local governments, mainly because their position in the Czech legal system has been already comprehensively and sufficiently described. |
