| Description | At the Department of Occupational Medicine at the St. Anne University Hospital in Brno in the period from 1.1.2003 until 31.12.2009 has been examined a total of 142 people with suspected occupational allergic rhinitis. As an occupational disease has been recognized 98 persons. Based on our investigation, we have created our own recommendations for professional investigation of occupational rhinitis. Symptoms of allergic rhinitis seriously impair quality of life. After removal from exposure to the etiological noxa occupational rhinitis is statistically significant improvement in quality of life All patients with suspected occupational allergic rhinitis should be actively hunt even after initial symptoms of bronchial asthma. We recommended all patients have both rinomanometric and spirometry examination. |
