| Description | In this article, a few examples of popular prints depicting scenes and characters from the novel Honglou mneg are depicted. Most date from the late 19th century and were made in Yangliuqing workshops. The low number of findings may indicate that the subject was not as popular among the lower social strata as usually claimed. |
