| Description | After recalling the ambiguous definition of health this paper focuses on the value of health in contemporary society. The author presents the location of health in value scales, outlines the cult of health as a lifestyle and draws attention to issues of economization of health in contemporary society. Balanced state between between - according to Daniel Bell - "sociologizing" and "economizating" modes is evident in the health sector in developing the discipline Public Health, which emphasis interdisciplinarity and complexity in solving problems of health. |
