| Description | The text maps in comparative way the existence of the Czech studies and the Bulgarian studies as university courses or just lectureships of Czech, respectively of Bulgarian language in universities in the countries lying between Czechia and Bulgaria. In the review there are included present countries of former Yugoslavia, and Albania, Hungary, Austria and Slovakia. From the review there are a few conclusions: there are slightly wider possibilities for studying Czech, mainly due to increased interest in some of the smaller or new universities in the countries of former Yugoslavia. Traditional university centers such as Vienna, Budapest, Belgrade and Zagreb offer studying Czech, respectively Bulgarian equally. |
