| Description | Teaching of German as a foreign language in grammar and middle schools is nowadays focused mostly on grammar and vocabulary. To the practicing of proper German pronunciation is paid little or no attention. Students encounter a systematic explanation of German language pronunciation only during their first year at the Faculty of Education. Here they learn about typical mistakes in pronunciation made by the Czech native speakers. An important part of the study is a phonetic analysis of a German text. |
