Description The oxidation of Ph2P(CH2)(n)PPh2 (n = 1, 3, 5) by tellurium powder was studied. The prepared compounds Ph2P(Te)(CH2)(n)P(Te)Ph-2 (1, n = 3; 2, n = 5) were characterized by P-31 and Te-125 NMR spectroscopy, elemental analysis, FTIR spectroscopy and for 2 by single-crystal X-ray analysis.
