| Description | This paper is an introduction to the theory of autobiographical subjectivity presented by the US theorists Sidonia Smith and Julia Watson. The authors investigate the sources and dynamics of the autobiographical I‘s, that is, the different positions of the identity and personality of the narrator, using six key concepts: memory, experience, identity, space, embodiment, and agency. The presented theory is applied to Miguel Torga’s diary. |
