| Description | The aim of the paper was to look for the word formation models of the the vocabulary of the underclass in urban Mexican Spanish during the beginnings of the 19th century and of the urban criminal slang. As fiction is a rather problematic source for the history of vocabulary, the other aim of the contribution was to suggest a method of reading and selecting of lexical units that would be adequate for the analysis. |
