Description Case study originated as part of the project "Crossing the Borders: Geographic and Structural Characteristics of Cross-Border Cooperation in the Danube Region" under the leadership of Central European Service for Cross-border Initiatives. It addresses one of 13 Czech Euroregions being the trilateral cooperation (Czechia, Germany/Bavaria, Austria/Upper Austria). After geographic characteristics is introduced organizational and institutional structure. The thesis focuses on the description of the main activities through analysis of cross-border projects in terms of their actors, focus, determination of territorial incl. financial support mainly from the EU. Special attention is paid to the chosen examples (best practices). It also represented a model Euroregion comparison with other Czech euroregions.
