Description This paper focuses on the identification of the person who is under the name of Henry Italian found in the sources of the second half of the 13th century. These are mainly epistolary and documentary form. According to earlier views were Henry of Isernia, who led at the time of Premysl Otakar II. rhetorical school in Vysehrad, then got into the royal office from which then left and returned as the reign of King Wenceslas II. According to the author goes on, however, Henry of Isernia, in the Bohemia domesticated Italian, and Master Henry, rector of Gars, royal notary. Henry Italian royal notary of forms, is a contemporary fiction.
