| Description | The paper is an assessment of the notion of graphical variant in Chinese writing. We try to treat the content of the notion, as it is dealt with in Chinese scientific texts. We offer an introduction to the issue of graphical variation not only from the viewpoint of theory of grammatology. Graphical variants are important for us from the point of view of teaching characters and for our orientation through Chinese texts. |
