Description Lung cancer belongs among the most common malignancies in both Europe and the world in general. In recent years, treatment of NSCLC is seeing considerable development, which leads to increased survival of patients with certain types of morphologic diagnoses or certain molecular genetic markers. With current possibilities for NSCLC treatment, it is very important to make a precise morphologic diagnosis and especially in cases of adenocarcinoma, genetic testing should be done as well. Thanks to new drugs, new options are appearing for treatment of squamous carcinomas and for treatment of 2nd line of NSCLC as well.
