Description In recent years, the treatment of non-small cell lung carcinoma (NSCLC) has experienced very rapid development. Thanks to the biological therapies, improved survival occurred in NSCLC patients, especially those with inoperable locally advanced or metastatic NSCLC. Preparations targeting the processes inside tumor cells are used particularly in adenocarcinomas. Already at the time of diagnosis, it is necessary to accurately determine the morphological diagnosis and, if indicated, perform genetic testing. Our report provides an overview of current developments and possibilities of biological therapy.
