| Description | Imaging methods play a key role in the diagnosis of the spinal tumors. Detection of the spinal tumor can sometimes be an accidental finding at imaging studies. The correct differential diagnosis is highly important especially in such cases, although it may be quite extensive and in many patients the exact classification of the tumor type can be established only by the biopsy and histopathological examination. The material for this examination can be obtained by CT guided biopsy, which can thus contribute to the determination of the final diagnosis. |
