| Description | In this chapter we deal with the notion of graphical decipherment as the main task of Chinese palaeography and we outline the problems of definition of the term. We endeavour to introduce basic characteristics of the study of the archaic evolutionary style on bones and tortoise shells and bring closer the complex philological attitude of Chinese decipherment texts. |
