| Description | The study will examine the Russian and Ukrainian archives in which there are documents about the history of the Czechs who settled in Tsarist Russia. A number of materials on the history of Czech social and economic emigration to Russia in the second half of the 19th century and the life of the Czechs there until 1917 can be found especially in the collections of the Russian State Historical Archives in St. Petersburg. Most materials about the history of the Czechs in the Kyiv and Volyn Governments until 1917 is located in collections the Central State Historical Archives of Ukraine in Kiev. |
