| Description | The aim of this review is to provide comprehensive information on the potential therapeutic effects of milk thistle in oncology patients and to reveal potential indications for its use as a supportive therapy either as an anticarcinogenic agent or to ameliorate the side effects of oncological treatment. Not only evidence of its effects, but also the safety of its use and possible interactions with cancer treatment were emphasized. |
