Description The new biosensor tip utilizes the immobilized variant of the haloalkane dehalogenase DhmeA, the enzyme with extended resistance at high pH. This sensor tip provides sensitivity for detection of halogenated pollutants (eg 1,2-dibromoethane) in the alkaline conditions, pH 10. The prototype of the biosensor tip will be used to construct a biosensor with extended activity for detections at alkaline environment.
