Description | The objective of this study is to answer following research question: What are the inteconections between strategic human resources management and labour relations? The theoretical framework is based on Dunlop`s industrial relations system theory and considerations of strategy and HR management mainly by Boxall and Purcell. We recognized some new shapimg issues in both of labour relations and strategic HRM in changing social and economical context. Among corporations in the Czech republic we found out as most important employer/employee partnership, high performance work systems, building of competencies, work/life balance and employee participation. The emergence of new topics is expected as employee stress/well being, decent work and fair workplaces in the next years. |
