| Description | The lecture explains the Czech-Lithuanian linguistic and cultural relations from the earliest times (i.e. the split of proto-Indoeuropean into different linguistic families) up to present day. It focuses on the contacts of the academic nature (e. g. reciprocal linguistic research, contacts between particular universities) and on the personalities in direct contact with Masaryk university (i.e. Czech baltists and Lithuanian bohemists). |
