Description The contribution first presents the constitutional principle of local self-government, its content and constitutional bases (including the international legal bases represented primarily by the European Charter of Local Self-Government), and later focuses on the reflection of this principle in the decision-making practice of the public administration and administrative courts. Partial attention is paid in this context to the issue of representatives' remuneration, territorial planning or bias in the performance of (deconcentrated) state administration.
