| Description | Border regions play an important role in the development of European integration. This is where the different approaches of the members, of non-EU Member States. This traditionally strongly supports the interconnection of peripheral areas through specific programs and initiatives (eg CBC PHARE, INTERREG, European Territorial Cooperation). Euroregions, through which the support to specific subjects is often managed, is of a very special position. |
