Description Medieval fields are often overlooked even during field prospections. In the region of the former Brtnice Fiefdom the oldest fields can still be identified. Their origins can be retrospectively traced back to the 13th century. This represents the oldest agricultural division of landscape in the studied region. This antrhopogenic feature is nowadays an endangered type of historic evidence, which is caused by its nature, as the are often not very accentuated in the relief. Interdisciplinary research of these features can still bring new information which will further the kowledge of the studied region, as a whole economic complex.
