| Description | Paper deals with the cathodoluminescence (CL) study of scintillators in form of thin single-crystalline films of garnet structure. Influence of various Mg concentrations on CL is studied in effort to improve timing parameters of scintillators for electron detectors. The fastest studied scintillators show the decay time only 4.2 ns and relative afterglow (CL intensity 500 ns after e-beam cutoff) of 0.015 %. |
