|Description||This paper presents writing as an important communicative activity and skill. In the theoretical part, I will define the construct of writing as a tool for thinking and communication, as a subject of learning, teaching and assessment. I will follow with presenting diffrent approaches to the assessment and testing of writing, several techniques and their advantages and disadvantages, and finally, I will mention challenges related to validity and reliability. I will summarize steps, that could be helpful to reach useful and meaningful testing and assessment of writing.|
