| Description | In 2019 it is going to be 100 years since the Brno Faculty of Law, Masaryk University was founded and 140 years since the birth of its excellent pedagogue, legal philosopher, legal theorist and lawyer Professor Frantisek Weyr who fundamentally contributed to the flourishing of legal theory and legal philosophy. With his thoughts and spiritual contribution, František Weyr gave the Faculty of Law in Brno a unique character in the inter-war period by laying the foundations of normative theory of law and forming the Brno normative school. The Brno normative school included the majority of teachers at the Brno Faculty of Law and its importance went beyond the national boundaries. |
