| Description | Still more and more teachers are acquiring iPads or other tablet brands to browse the Internet, communicate via email, organise their activities, and work on the way. Yet, the iPad allows for a much wider variety of uses for teachers. An interesting area of application is creating short learning videos and tutorials, by means of re-using older materials, which are often readily available - such as powerpoint presentations, illustrative pictures or videos, and learning texts. Fresh-made videos can be shared with students before the actual lesson for home preparation, so that the teacher can spare valuable time in class for practice-oriented activities, group work, and revision. This workshop presents several apps which allow for the creation of short learning videos and tutorials and their sharing with students. |
