| Description | ELISA and MAT methods were used for the detection of antibodies against the pathogenic microorganisms Borrelia burgdorferi s.l. and Leptospira interrogans at reservoir hosts. Rodents were captured on two sites of the Moravian Karst and Poodří Protected Landscape Area. The amount of antibodies (about BBsl around 20%) and Lisl (7%) was associated with previous years. This is a potential danger of transmitting pathogenic microbes to vectors - ticks, thereby infecting humans. |
