HS is characterized by deep painful nodules in apocrine gland areas. HS has negative impact on patient's quality of life involving physical, social and economic aspects. The treatment of HS depends on severity of the disease and on its activity. The combined treatment – medical and surgical is prefered for the patients with severe form of the disease.
