Description Future teachers are faced with the question how to connect curriculum of elementary school with the curriculum of primary school. The paper presents the results of the pilot study on continuity of the biological curriculum presented to pupils of elementary school within the subject of the education Natural Sciences to the subject of the education Man and His World presented to pupils at primary school. As a model curriculum for the development of continuity was selected the thematic unit Plant Biology in a pilot study. Based on the analysis of curriculum documents and selected textbooks of Natural Sciences, the curriculum, expected outputs and concrete concepts presented in Plant Biology in textbooks for elementary and primary schools were compared.
