| Description | This review offers information concerning specifics of senior´s pharmacotherapy in the introduction. Authors explain modalities of osteoarthritis treatment according to current recommendations of ESCEO (European Society for Clinical and Economic Aspects of Osteoporosis and Osteoarthritis). All recommended steps of treatment are commented on with aspect to elderly patients. The pain relief is stressed and the more frequently considering of opioid usage is suggested to improve the independence and quality of life of seniors with osteoarthritis. |
