| Description | This article analyses the house motif in the novels by António Lobo Antunes, considering some specific cases of family secrets (incest, madness or bastards). The motif of the house of secrets is briefly contextualised in the frame of the western literary tradition in order to detect Antunes’ innovative approach. |
