| Description | Contemporary authors draw the motif of enigmatic and mysterious Prague from the literary tradition (Meyrink, Perutz, Kafka) of the first half of the twentieth century and transform it according to the needs of the genre (noir, detective, comic). After a historical and literary overview, the article focuses on the presentation of The Sorrowful Putto of Prague and Praha noir, two collective works released in 2017 that offer a current look at Prague as a literatury subject. |
