Citation
Description In 1891 Marie Schober received an industrial teacher's appointment decree on which to teach typical openwork embroidery in the village Zubří near Rožnov pod Radhoštěm. At the same time, she established cooperation with Museja companies in Valašské Meziříčí and with its leading figure P. Eduard Domluvil. She has contributed significantly to the promotion of embroidery from Zubří through the Zádruha cooperative, for its presentation at exhibitions and subsequent sale. The ambition was not only extending the life of embroidery but also improving the social conditions of families at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries and then especially during the First World War.
