| Description | The air pollution and CO2 production are considered the most significant problems caused by car traffic. At the same time, high density of traffic infrastructure has negative impact on the nature and landscape, despite the fact that its development was designated as a priority in Czech National Emission Reduction Programme. The public health is also threathened by car traffic especially due to excessive noise, beside the air pollution. The monography is focused on legal discrepances and problems of current legal regulation related to car traffic in a complex way. It is divided into three parts which are devoted to three different problems described above - legal regulation of cars and their operation in respect to air and climate protection, nature and landscape protection and protection of public health against negative impacts caused by the car traffic. |
