| Description | The submitted paper aims to introduce current directions of research in the field of rural tourism concerning its interdisciplinary character. The methods used include content analysis of obtained data and their subsequent synthesis to final outputs of submitted paper. The outputs take form of identification and description of the main topics of rural tourism research. The data sources were articles publicized on Web of Science from professional impact journals from 2014 to 2019. The impacted journals, from which were finally drawn articles, were selected based on several criteria from the Scopus web platform. During the literary overview, a set of keywords was determined. Based on them, individual articles were inserted in the database created especially for this paper. |
