| Description | Pediatric neurology has a long tradition in the Czech Republic. It has existed here since the 50s and 60s. years of the last century, when it was founded as an independent field by Professor Ivan Lesný. It was a great deed at the time, which brought us the recognition and respect of colleagues from developed countries in Europe and the world. After the great difficulties that the field has been struggling with for the last almost 20 years, it has now been included among the basic fields since 2015. Erudition is challenging. In the past and today it means mastering a large amount of knowledge from pediatrics, neurology and other fields - anatomy, physiology, ophthalmology, otorhinolaryngology and intensive care medicine. Only from this broad knowledge base does developmental pediatric neurology grow. |
