| Description | The vast number of Czech translations of French popular novels written in the late 19th century confirms its popularity with Czech readers. This paper, which is based on a research of founds owned by the National Library of the Czech republic in Prague, presents the most popular authors and titles which were translated at the end of the 19th and the beginning of the 20th century. |
