| Description | This present work on the words of love in the lexical field of drugs offers a dictionary study of the borrowings from English that are known as argotic: addict and accro in order to distinguish their various acceptations and their treatment in dictionaries, as well as a contextual research in two contemporary French corpora (including one consisting of rap lyrics) regrouping frequent contemporary substandard words. The crossing of search results allows us to reveal taboo-busting, recognition and membership functions; diachronic, diaphasic, diastratic, and diatopic variations; many lexicographic, orthographic, semantic, morphosyntactic and linguistic problematics; and significant discrepancies between objective standards and linguistic imagination. |
