| Description | The article is devoted to an urgent methodological problem - the teaching useful geography that explains to a schoolchild or student why knowledge of geographical phenomena or location is useful for life. The conclusion is that useful geography is not a new geographical discipline, but an approach to understanding this science. The author considers one very interesting area of using geographical knowledge and skills (abilities) in everyday life - risk assessment in the landscape, providing tasks with relevant illustrations (map-diagrams). |
