| Description | The present document formulates recommendations for the diagnostic and treatment procedure in patients with the development of life-threatening bleeding in connection with pregnancy and / or childbirth with a focus on the so-called peripartum life-threatening bleeding. The individual recommendations are based on available published professional sources on the issue and the opinions of the members of the working group, including external opponents. The implementation of the recommendations formulated in the text must always be considered in the current clinical context and in terms of the benefit-risk balance of individual specific procedures. The document does not replace the basic professional resources of the issue and does not state the obligations of health professionals determined by legal standards. |
