|Description||In the Czech context, attention has not been paid to empirical research of alternative schools for a long time. After learning about the specific situation of principals, teachers, pupils and parents, which unites the everyday formation of school reality, we want to discover using narrative analysis. Knowing the narrative identities of the actors will allow us to understand the discourse that is constructed by a private alternative school. As part of the paper, we present the entire methodology of the project and show partial analyzes of the narrative identities of alternative school principals. Specifically, we point out some narrative variables of directors' stories, such as their motivational themes, affective themes, structural elements of the narrative, and so on (cf. Adler et al., 2017 and McAdams, & McLean, 2013).|
