Description | The contribution is dealing with recruitment of women into one of the interest groups of the Agrarian party of Moravia before WW1. In contrast to conservative Czech political parties, the moravian Agrarian party presented itself as an young, progressive platform with equal rights for all its members and especially for women, but also as a pro-emancipation element of the politics. In spite of this, there were no individual women groups in the party before 1914 and the only possible way to recruit women was Sdružení agrárního dorostu. So the basic question is, how women practised their activism in Sdružení, which will be solved with gender qualitative and quantitative analysis. Needed archival sources are very rare, so the analysis leans primarily on printed sources. |
