| Description | The aim of this article is to analyze the data gathered from the filling of the fifth ditch in Budmerice, site Sušička and the subsequent discussion regarding the possible options for its dating. There were two layers identified in the filling, containing fragmentary archaeological and biological material, including atypical ceramic finds. In spite of the limited informative value of the finds the authors propose to date the ditch into the Post-Baden time period or eventually the Late or Final Eneolithic period. The study is also dedicated to the question of the beginnings of the construction of fences (fortifications) in prehistory and its continuity on the terraces and in lowland locations. |
