Description The aim of the paper is to present the application of the meta-model of reflective writing (Ullmann, 2015, 2019) to diaries of teacher students, which describe their practical experience. The application consisted in classifying 200 reflective diaries according to the categories of reflective writing (deductive coding). Subsequently, the diaries classified in this way will serve as input data for machine learning, thanks to which a model of automatic recognition of reflection categories in reflective writing will be created. As a result, we will be able to automatically categorize new reflective diaries of student teachers and determine the degree of representation of categories.
